Speaking
I'm available for mental health speaking opportunities at business events, conferences, with media organisations and podcasts.
My professional history spans from corporate communications, marketing, writing and editing, to photojournalism and generative AI. This range of professional experience helps to inform a broad perspective of mental health, and its impact on the modern workplace.
Nobody is perfect, and everybody has stuff. Working in mental health repeatedly illuminates how we have more in common than might generally be imagined. Our shared flaws, neuroses, insecurities and challenges often cut across borders like gender, age, race, and social class.
Many psychological theories and mental health models can be applied to your world, your profession, and your people. This can result in improved self-awareness, greater clarity of thought, more efficient communication skills, and overall performance.
My 'Heads Up' session covers a challenging range of subjects including:

-
trauma
-
anxiety
-
control and cognitive dissonance
-
communication
-
neurodiversity, disorder and diagnoses
-
life stories and negative thought patterns
-
addiction
-
relationships.
Please get in touch using the contact information below if you'd like to discuss your requirements. The video embedded below links to a YouTube channel of short talks around mental health.
